We tried taking photos in light and dim conditions to see what the final pictures would look like. In light conditions, we had no problems at all as the autofocus helped a lot to get everything set. However, when there wasn’t enough light and we had to use the flash, the pictures weren’t so clear. But we still think this camera is wonderful for getting good instant photos, just make sure you have a good source of light.
The Kodak – Printomatic Portable Instant Camera makes the perfect gift for us. We would buy this as a Christmas or a birthday gift for our friends and we wouldn’t mind receiving such a wonderful gift as well. This isn’t the best resolution we have seen from instant cameras, yet, it has many other features that compensate for the resolution. For example, it’s a bundle of a camera, case, and printing paper, and sometimes it comes with stickers to put on the print paper. Moreover, the paper it uses to print on is Kodak’s special zinc paper that already comes with the cam, this is cheaper than other toners or film used by other cameras.
Speaking of the price, the camera didn’t cost us a lot. It’s something under $100, and on a sale, we would get the whole bundle at maybe 40% of the price. Overall, the camera is good for us and it satisfied our needs. We could choose which photos to print so as not to waste the zinc paper. You just need to be patient and wait for the photo for some time.

The Fujifilm – INSTAX SQUARE SQ40 is another good option we considered while searching for Polaroid cameras. As the name suggests, it’s a square camera for an easier grip. This grip was so important for us as we used the camera to take lots of selfies. It has a special selfie mode that works by rotating the lens and flipping the cam pointing it to ourselves. The selfie photos are of good quality, so, thumbs up to this feature.
This camera has been with us for more than a month. We traveled, camped, and spent nights at home with the camera. It’s very easy to use for first-time users. Rotate the lens to get the camera on, another rotation for the selfie mode, and the opposite direction to turn it off. That’s all that we do every time we want to take pictures. Further, it has auto focus and auto flashlight, so, we didn’t have to bother about the light here. It’s more of an old camera with modern-quality photos.
One of the cons of old instant cameras is that they print whatever we capture. However, new cameras give us the option to choose and sometimes, edit the photos before printing. The Fujifilm Instax Mini EVO pairs with our mobile phone using the dedicated Instax Evo App for a couple of additional features. Using the App, we can play with the photos a lot before printing. There are some preinstalled filters and edits that require no expertise at all.
Furthermore, the body of the camera itself is so user-friendly. It’s small and lightweight. We could fit it inside any handbag, and we aren’t afraid it would be broken as it feels durable. The hybrid feature is so amazing to play around with different photos. We could connect the camera to a mobile phone or a tablet and choose whatever photos we like to print. This allowed us to print edited photos for better quality.
Moreover, this small cam has a viewfinder which gives us a view of the photo before printing and wasting the film on photos we don’t like. The best part is the record button to play a recorded sound as a background to our photos. We believe the camera is well worth the price as it’s more advanced than many other options. We discovered that Canon has a wonderful instant camera which is the Canon Ivy CLIQ+2 Instant Camera Printer. Being a Canon camera, we could connect it to our phone and use the Canon camera App. Using this App, we had lots of editing options, so, before printing any photo, we would run it through the App first and add some touches to get stunning and more fun photos.
Furthermore, the film we received with the camera is different. It has a cover on the back side that can be peeled off to use the photos as stickers! This way, we could capture our best moments and stick them on the fridge, the wall, and any other flat surfaces around the home to see all the time. We usually use the camera for selfies when we gather at home or in the park. The quality of the photos in both indoor and outdoor conditions is decent. We think the photos are as clear as we want. The camera is similar to the Paloriod Now 2nd Gen model but this one has more features. Our favorite is the lens kit we received with the camera. It includes five lens filters we could use to create fun and creative photos. We used the orange filter, for example, to shoot nostalgic pictures.
Moreover, the camera has a Bluetooth connection, so, we could connect the camera to our mobile phones and launch the Paloroid App for manual controls. This allowed us to explore more features such as playing around with the exposure and shutter speed. When we don’t want to set anything manually, we just use the auto-focus options and the camera does its job.

Polaroid cameras aren’t designed to be professional cameras. They’re mainly made for fun and amateur users. Best for high-volume printing. The HP – LaserJet Enterprise M406dn is one of the fastest laser printers we have ever tried. That’s why we believe it’s named Enterprise printer. This is the most suitable one for large offices, companies, and similar high-volume use. We used it to print a couple of papers and we didn’t believe how fast this printer is. This isn’t our opinion alone, you can check some of the other reviews on HP’s official website here.
For most printers we tested, we had to set up an account to start using the printer. Yet, this one offers a fast and easy printing process as no account is needed to print. Just connect the printer to the computer or laptop, turn it on, and print. The printing quality is more than perfect. If it had other features like scanning or color printing, we think this would have justified the price more.
Best for printing speed. We’re still with HP printers but with a more powerful device, namely the HP – LaserJet Pro MFP 4101fdw. This printer is packed with features, it’s nearly the same price as the previous printer, yet, it has more features. For example, this printer is an all-in-one device, it prints, scans, copies, and sends faxes. Moreover, there are options for printing as automatic two-sided printing.
We could also use the printer without connecting it using a wire connection. Best of all, it’s very fast which is the most important feature from our point of view. Given all these features, we were ready to pay the offered price as we got what we paid for. Plus, HP printers are durable and last for long. We wanted to try the Canon – imageCLASS D1650 printer as the manufacturer claims it has a printing speed of 45 pages per minute. This is one of the highest speeds we have encountered since we decided to review different laser printers. We didn’t take these specs for granted but we decided to undergo our own tests to see how fast this printer is. It came true to what was claimed, it’s really a fast printer for high-volume users. Highly recommended, especially for offices.

Plus, we didn’t take the time to set it up and get everything ready. We didn’t even need to read the manual or watch a YouTube tutorial. It’s straightforward to manage. Our favorite feature is the ability to connect the printer to the mobile and print any document directly.
Moreover, the printer is considered speedy. The quality of printing is perfect as well. Generally speaking, we’re fans of Canon products. We believe they’re high quality and worth the money. The only problem we had was that it wasn’t sturdy as other Canon printers, so, we had to pay extra attention while dealing with it.
The Brother-HL-L2320D is a basic printer that just gets the job done. At some point, all we need is to print a couple of papers in good quality and a speedy manner. This is what this laser printer offers. We had no problems so far with this printer, we used it several times and each time we got sharp text and no paper jams.
Since this printer has no fancy features, we didn’t expect to pay a lot to get this device. It’s also a wired printer but the problem is that it doesn’t come with a USB cable. We had to purchase one before installing and working with the printer. Given the price, this printer is recommended for personal use or even at offices when all you need is black-and-white printed documents. The Brother – DCP-L2550DW is a very easy-to-install laser printer. It took us a few moments to install the printer. It worked with all the devices we had including MacBook and mobile. The printer has two options; wired and wireless connections. We prefer a wireless connection as it’s always more convenient.
We tried to print, copy, and scan documents to make sure of all the features. It has a document feeder for the scanner, which makes the process easier. Further, the printing speed is considerable. On average, we could print around 35 papers per minute. When we wanted faster printing, we did double-sided printing.
We were impressed with what Canon – imageCLASS D570 offers at this price point. The printer does all the jobs any laser printer can do, plus, it fits all budgets. We were looking for a printer that scans and copies at the same time but at a lower price than other HP options. We found this one and we have been using it for a couple of months so far, it works great. The printer fits the space we have on the desk at our office. This is great as four-in-one printers are usually larger.
To set up the printer and get things ready, we had to contact customer support. We couldn’t figure it out alone but we think this won’t be the case when connecting a second device. The first device was a MacBook, so, this might explain why it was difficult to connect the printer wireless to the MacBook, it needs some extra steps. Overall, it’s a good buy and we’re so satisfied.
The Canon – imageCLASS MF656Cdw has everything we need in a color laser printer; printing speed, double-side printing, good-resolution scanner, and many more. Further, we have tried several printers with double-sided printing features. This one here has double-side scanning as a plus. Above all, the wireless setup couldn’t be easier.

Starting off the list with one of our favorite brands ever, it’s the LG LED HD Smart webOS TV. One of the reasons we like this TV is because of the colors. We admire how bright and sharp the colors are. They make the picture look so clear and this enhances our watching experience. We tried watching the TV in a well-lit room and a dark room to see how it looks in both conditions and it was very good.
One thing we didn’t like a lot on the TV is the home screen. It looks a bit messy, but thankfully we could find our way and browse the different channels we used to watch on our old screen. When we think of upgrading, we’ll get the same TV as it’s available in 4K and 8K too. For now, we’re satisfied with the experience we had with this small screen.
The second screen we recommend is the TCL S3 S-Class. Again, we like the colors of this screen and the contrast levels. It’s more than what we expected from this small lightweight screen. Next, the VIZIO D-Series Full HD Smart TV is an option that is worth checking with full HD quality. There are different screen sizes but we’re now concerned with the 32-inch screen. Being small, we could handle everything without professional help. It comes with a user guide that we use to mount the TV and then browse channels and Apps.
Some of you might not know this brand as it isn’t as famous as Samsung or LG. However, it turned out to be an ideal competitor to such brands at lower prices. The main thing we always look for when buying any new TV screen is the picture and audio quality. When tested, the screen passed the test with a full mark as both the picture and audio were what was expected from a small screen.
The Insignia N10 Series LED Full HD TV isn’t the best resolution we have ever tried, yet, it’s a suitable option for a secondary small screen at home. It connects to streaming Apps and we can view local channels as well. Navigating through different options on the TV is very easy using the remote controller.
As for the picture and sound quality, it’s fairly good. The picture is suitable for a 32-inch TV. Whereas the sound is mediocre among similar small-screen TVs. While it isn’t the highest quality we have watched, it’s still one of the best for a small room where the seating isn’t very far from the TV.

If you already checked all the previous screens, you will know that picture quality is the main thing we always look for when buying a TV. We don’t want to get a screen that makes it difficult to watch different details. Thus, even with small screens, the quality is very important. It includes the sharpness and brightness of the colors and the resolution. For small screens, full HD resolution is more than enough. Also, there are a couple of options we tested that have very sharp and clear colors.
Sound quality
The second thing after watching is listening. So, we wanted to have a screen that has good sound quality without having to add a soundbar or speakers. Of course, we didn’t expect a very high volume with a small screen, yet, we looked for clear audio with no distortion. This is possible with small screens and bear in mind the space where the screen will be placed in. It should be a small room.
Purpose
Finally, the last thing we thought about is whether we want the TV for streaming online content and Apps such as YouTube and Netflix, or, to use as a PC screen. For PC, we didn’t need a very user-friendly interface because it’s just a screen. On the other side, if the main purpose is streaming online content, a responsive TV screen is a must.
DVD players aren’t an old thing to think of. They’re still one of the most needed electronic products. Think of it this way, you’re on a trip and you want to pass the time but carrying a laptop is a thing. On the other side, a mobile phone is too small to watch a movie on. This is where a portable DVD player at Best Buy becomes very important. Our own experience with portable DVD players was great. We bought two of them and tested each one independently to know how it works. Our tests included everything; the image quality, sound, the material of the device itself, the battery life, and everything else.

As the name suggests, Insignia Portable DVD Player with Swivel Screen NS-P10DVD20 has a screen that rotates 180 degrees. It folds flat for a tablet view. A 10-inch screen is enough for us to use in long car rides or long trips in general. Given its lightweight as well, it’s one of the most practical and easy options for travelers in particular. Since we’re frequent travelers, this DVD player was a perfect choice for us. We could also share it on one of our trips as we will tell you in minutes.
The first time we saw the product on Best Buy, we were taken by the rubberized black color and finish. We believe it’s very elegant with the fine silver lines that add to the elegance of the DVD player. It’s an electronic device, yes we know. Yet, the design is something we care about too. Why not if we can get a good performance and sleek design in one product? When we received the product and held it in our hands, it seemed a bit flimsy. However, we soon discovered that being thin and lightweight is deliberate to deliver the best portability feature.
One thing we wanted to have better in this DVD player is the fingerprint-resistant buttons. The control buttons hold residue, dust, and even fingerprints. On the positive side, the buttons resist water that might splash on the device accidentally. To clean the buttons, we had to buy a special spray that is used with such products. Well, cleaning the buttons and the device isn’t a task in the end, but fingerprint resistance would have been a nice pro feature to have in this player.
Speaking of the control buttons, there are several buttons for basic functions such as play/pause, move forward and backward, and the best thing fast forward and backward. Yet, we didn’t actually need this fast-forward all the time because the device memorized where we left the last session. This feature is very wonderful for movie addicts like us. We never had to remember or write down where we stopped because the DVD player does this job for us. As long as the CD is inside the player, you’ll always get back to where you left off. For more control, we received a remote controller that looks too smart. We never had to worry about where to leave the remote controller because there is a slot made especially for storing this controller. More buttons on the remote made it more convenient for us to use the player.
One of the reasons we prefer DVD players with swivel screens is that it offers different viewing angles. When we’re on a long way on a bus or train with no WiFi or poor network, we usually take our DVD player instead of a tablet. This model from Insignia offers the same experience and is far better because we don’t need that canvas cover to hold the device upright. It stands similar to laptops and folds similar to tablets.
On a long bus trip, two of us could share this 10-inch screen player. But we didn’t want to disturb other people with the sound of the movie we were watching, so, headphones were the solution. Our experience of watching a full movie on this DVD player was pretty good. Although the screen isn’t the largest, the resolution is good and the colors are good. As mentioned before, the player rotates 180 degrees, so, all the viewing angles offer clear images. Both of us could see a good picture when the screen was placed in the center in front of us. Further, we could control some options regarding the image. For example, we could increase the brightness and stretch the content to fill the 10-inch screen. We know these controls sometimes lead to losing a bit of quality, but they’re still useful when it comes to movies with too many night scenes.
The next thing we tested in this player is the sound. Overall, the sound quality is good. Even when we reached the highest volume, there was no distortion and the sound was very clear. With our headphones, the sound was far better. The same difference between the sound of a 4K TV and the same TV with a soundbar. The only comment we have about sound, in general, is the sound of the CD spinning inside the device. It’s louder than we expected, it sometimes feels too noisy.
Before we bought this player, we wanted to make sure that the battery, when fully charged, will give us enough power to watch a full movie. The manufacturer says the battery works from two to two and a half hours. In our test, the battery was enough for watching a full movie but not something like “Gone with the Wind”, this will be too much for the battery. Overall, this range is average among similar DVD players in the same price category and same size. It would have been much better if we could know how much battery power is remaining but we didn’t find a battery indicator similar to this on mobile.
In brief, the DVD player is a good choice for a small screen and lightweight portable DVD player at Best Buy. There are smaller screens of the same brand but, for us, a 10-inch screen is the smallest we can go for. So far, as for the price range, we’re so satisfied. One thing that would urge us to buy the Proscan Portable Blu-ray Player instead of the previous Insignia model is the Blu-ray compatibility. This DVD player operates any type of CD including the Blu-ray ones. So, by using this player, we were able to view higher-quality content. We thought this would come at an extra price but to our surprise, it’s at the same average.
This is our first time using DVD players, so, we wanted a kind of tutorial or manual to tell us how to use the device. Luckily, the Proscan DVD player came with setup and use instructions. Following these instructions was very easy. It didn’t take us more than a couple of minutes to start our first movie on the DVD player. We also noticed that this player works very fast, there was no lag and we didn’t have to wait all day to watch something from a Blu-ray CD.
The main feature we look for when searching for Best Buy DVD players portable is simply portability. And portability is a synonym for lightweight and practicality. The device is lightweight, we could feel it after unpacking the device and carrying it alone. By checking the specs of the device, we learned it’s only 1.28 Kg. Thus, the first box was checked.
We didn’t only use this DVD player while traveling but also before sleeping to watch a short movie with high-quality pictures and audio. Speaking of the audio, we used headphones, so, we could hear clearly but didn’t disturb others at home. There are two jacks for the headphones, so, if you’re sharing the bed with someone else, you can both listen and keep the sound away from the neighbors.
We bought the portable DVD with a two-year warranty which made us trust the product more. It would be perfect if the product lasts for more than those two years. So far, it seems like it’s a durable device. The remote controller seems durable as well and there is a built-in slot for the remote. Thus, we can keep it after use to prevent damage.
Apart from the physical quality, the image quality and resolution were perfect. The maximum video resolution we could reach is 1080p. For this device, it’s perfect as it’s just 11 inches. The picture is very clear and the colors are bright as if we were watching a movie on a traditional TV screen. You can compare the picture yourself between this player and the TV screen at your home. Continuing to discover the features of this player, we found a small slot for a memory card. Well, we didn’t know what to do with a memory card but soon we discovered another USB port which made us recognize that we have different multimedia viewing options. We don’t have to use CDs only, we can use a USB flash disk or a memory card if we want to go lighter and smarter. These options are great for those who usually get the CDs broken when packing and traveling.
Other ports include the HDMI port to connect to a TV screen. We asked ourselves why would we need to connect this DVD player to a TV screen. The answer is simple, to use it as a normal DVD player, so, this portable thing doubles as a traditional DVD player that operates different CDs but gives you the chance to watch 4K content at the highest quality on your large TV screen. Further, there is an Ethernet port to get a wired network connection. We wished that we could have WiFi connections as well, but honestly, this option is not popular in these devices. Maybe they need to think of it in the next generations of DVD players.

To know the capacity of the battery, we had to fully charge it first and then watch something and keep watching until the battery died. This is what we exactly did, and here are the results. The battery charges in around four hours and it works for something between three and a half and four hours. This is pretty good for such a device and type of battery.
Another feature similar to the previous model is the last memory function. Here, we have different multimedia options such as a CD, USB drive, or a memory card. So, this function works differently as it remembers the last thing we were watching no matter which option from the previous ones we were using.

Quality
The first thing we always check when it comes to electronic devices is the quality. Here, we’re concerned with the screen quality and the audio as well. We aren’t searching for a 4K quality but also we don’t want to watch movies in less than full HD quality. Further, the colors are also important as we want to see fully saturated images with bright colors. It’s a good thing to have some controls as brightness and contrast levels. On the other side, the sound quality and volume level are also equally important. The best portable DVD at Best Buy is the one with high volume levels but with no distortion.
Jacks and ports
Next, we check the jacks and the ports in the DVD player we’re using. Some DVD players have more than one jack for headphones, these are our favorites for watching a movie together. We want a good battery that allows us to watch a full movie at least but doesn’t add weight to our device.
