How To Choose The Best Etsy Old-Fashioned Glasses?

Choosing the Decade

One of the most important factors before beginning shopping for vintage eyewear is knowing the different eyewear across and according to decades. Based on how people dress, one might find that glasses from a certain decade suit them better than another. It could also depend on facial features and shape. For instance, while the 1960s had geometric shapes, bold colors, and thick rims, the 1970s featured a lot of metal specs, such as aviators and round lens glasses.

Frame styles

The next step is to find the specific vintage frames that look best on you. For instance, tortoiseshell glasses look great on petite faces, while cat-eye frames are all about elegance and glamor. Then, there are oversized frames, pilot-style glasses, rimless ones, huge rectangular ones, and more. So, find a style that suits your face first before heading to invest in Etsy vintage glasses frames.

Materials

Finally, the most important part of finding good Etsy vintage eyeglasses is the material they’re made from. Generally, if you’re looking for plastic eyeglasses, then look for those that are made from cellulose acetate due to their visual quality, durability, lightweightness, and hypoallergenic. You could also choose other quality materials like stainless steel.
